I've always loved her sound..................and you know what.
I kind of like it too, wonder how far the backline wigged out after the video cut out?!
Does Dolly prefer Plexi or JCM800?
Did Dolly run out of song material or what?
Or did all the cowboys become zep heads what gives?
My one and only question still is..........are those fun bags real? Inquiring minds want to know
Heaven's above! Probly not bad below either, reckon her amp would wanna motorboat...
I have always felt she was one of the greatest voices in all of music. Ever.
I read she got a reduction about 10 years ago because they were putting her back out. She was always full figured before implants were a thing.
But I'd prefer to focus on her voice and writing ability. She isn't as celebrated as some but take a long careful look at her back catalog. Just incredible.
Dolly is a country classic. Right up there with Buck and Roy.
You know, if she'd chosen to go in ANY musical direction, she'd have enjoyed great success. I can very well envision her singing for Nightwish in place of Tarja. Or duets with Bruce Dickinson in Iron Maiden. I'm not into country but Dolly is WORTHY of great respect and I don't care who you are.
Elvis recorded Dolly Parton's "I Will Always Love You". When "the Colonel" informed Dolly that she would need to transfer publishing rights to Elvis, she refused. Whitney Huston did a fabulous job with the song, of course. I prefer Dolly's version.
Yes I know all about her singing capabilities...she is awesome and a great business women also. I grew up listening to her when my parents would play her on 8-Tracks! But regardless...I was always infatuated by those MONSTERS!
That was a crappy effort on a deified classic!
Thanks for wasting my time.
Wrong song to sing IMO.
Dolly Parton has her audience.
This may be an attempt to reel in a new group.
I'm not impressed.
