Many sites spy. If I'm looking at certain things at Musicians friend etc, those same products turn up in ads when I come here. Not just book face and the twit does it.

because when you go on sites, sites have cookies & beacons. Those cookies & beacons talk. They talk about you. If you look at a cookie, it has your username for the internet & an IP.

Interestingly, enough, I can log on to social media, & see what someone else in the house has been looking at online. Sometimes, we use VPNs, so, it's disturbing that another computer, w/ a totally different IP, can still be associated w/ me, on one of my devices.

Although, devices also talk. There have been times, where you have been asked if you want to sync all, or other devices w/ whatever computer. That, opened a port of comm's, between devices on the network...

You are mincing the terms "web browser cookies cache" and what I said, "spyware."

This means FB scans your calls, emails, and every one of your texts and photos and uploads it to their choosing.

If you approve of this even though unconstitutional and intrusive, even criminal, you have deep mental disorders.

It's not just fb as others have said, many sites do it, amazon, guitar center, home depot, hotmail, etc. Nearly every time I pop into my email account page I'll see ads that just happen to be tailored to me based on my recent online activity, from guitars to Milwaukee brand tools to 4k movies (recent searches/clicks of mine)....all "conveniently" placed there for me to click....like bait lol.

If you want anonymity download the Tor browser. Or just install Adblock plus and you won't be seeing most of these ads anymore.

But these days, Google, Apple, Facebook are in your phone, office and computer. Coming soon in your car and home appliances too. Most of your future employers, health & insurance firms, will consult a company that knows every little detail about your browsing habits, whereabouts, history, credit, etc.. ;)

They go too far. Some gas stations have screens that have ads while pumping gas. While pumping fucking gas (petrol)!

That's nothing ... just wait until you have what you think is a private verbal conversation about a random topic, and then that random topic starts showing up on your computer screen.

If you have Alexa, you're asking to be everyone's beatch.

This is what is going on. Gurgle moved to China so they can do this to the entire planet.

When conus ups to 5G, then THX1138 starts full bore.
