Lets post nothing but good news please. No politics, no conspiracy theories, no doom and gloom.

The news media is a business, they make their money on viewership. They have and will scare us into watching them.

This is a thread for good news and hope for the future. Please post any news on the cure or vaccine.

I've heard good news about some drugs which I can not spell but are sure as hell not aquarium cleaner. Let it fly.:dude:

Increased border security has caused an acute meth shortage.

They're all asleep for the 3rd time this month.

Good news #1: I don't think I have the virus.
Good news #2: 12AY7 tubes have made my 5150III Stealth sound more like a Marshall!

    That is all.

I see a lot of great American companies are stepping up and starting to manufacture ventilators, masks and other much needed medical supplies. Also retired Military personnel and healthcare workers are coming back to help out also.

This is the kind of info I was looking for in this thread. Good news about the hard work people are doing to help end this.

German scientists have found a substance in sea sponges growing in the mediterranean see which stops the virus from entering cells... still in trial but good news nonetheless.

I agree. Turn off the tv, don't consume the mass panic media. Go out in the sun, get some vitamin D, stay away from people, spend some time with the people that are around you and you can't infect.

Play music. I started with Fender Play, they are offering their online course for free now for the first 500.000 people to sign up. Although I am mostly beyond the levels in the online classes (it'a aimed at people that wanna start playing the guitar) I still am learning something.

Heck my girlfriend picked up the guitar and started learning.

    Just listened to this track:

    Hard times he's singing.

    "No food on my table
And no shoes to go on my feet
    No food on my table
And no shoes to go on my feet
    My children cry for mercy
They got no place to call your own"

As long as you're healthy, have a roof over your head and enough to eat, you're good. Do something good for your soul. :)

Two nights ago, it snowed at my house. I'm at 1700 feet here in southern France. There are lots of flowers out and the contrast with the snow was really pretty. France has been on quarantine for 2 weeks and today they just announced another 2 weeks of quarantine. Things are pretty mellow. You can go to the grocery store but you have to print out this paper and sign and date it. It declares exactly where you are going. If you don't have the paper, they can fine you a pretty good amount...

A couple of weeks ago, I bought a purple 425a cab and I now have it in my bedroom. It's the first thing I see when I wake up and it makes me happy. I also bought a jmd 50W head and it ships on Monday. And I'm happy about that too, I hope it gets here... Six weeks ago, I was practicing trills with my pinky and I pulled a muscle in my hand that put out for 3 days. I googled how to strengthen your pinky and then slowly started the exercises (on the guitar). I made the decision that I wanted my pinky to be able to do everything my ring finger can do and with the same confidence. And I'm happy to say that after 6 weeks of practice, my pinky is getting a lot stronger and more confident and my playing has improved because of it. And that makes me happy too.

I found a book online called "improvising rock guitar". It was written in 1973 and came with a floppy record. I saw a picture with Slash holding this book. He said he used the book when he was learning. I'm really enjoying it because it's kind of like a little rock history lesson and the two example songs are really cool. And that pleases me.

So those are things that make me happy right now.
