If we look at it that way, let's talk about AC/DC.
What is this Santana and what songs hit it big?
AC/DC I hear all the time, all sorts of songs and even at sport events.
AC/DC did have lots of great songs. My problem is they are over played and I am tired of hearing them. The other thing and what I was trying to say is you learn one song of theirs and you have learned almost all. AC/DC isn't the only one to do this.
Maybe, but if you ask me, he turned in the most epic performance of the whole event. He was blasted on LSD and NEVER MISSED ONE NOTE. I think that Woodstock is what launched Carlos Santana more than any other single thing he ever did.

Cool to me.. Sach with The Squares. Bass player Andy Milton was a close friend thru HS / College. We cut our chops in my basement in the late 60s / early 70s. Andy moved on to SF and met Sach for this. Squares was remastered and released this year. Clips on the tube.
