Can I hook up a 4x12 to a combo?

Ever read my comments about speaker cabinets. I do not own one 4x12. I have mostly 2x12, 2x10 and some 1x12; some open back, some close back and some tilt. I also have tilt stands. I can angle or separate them however I want for the most part.

I get that you can only bring so much to some places. I would prefer two tilting 1x12 and a 2x12 over a 4x12.

Yep we have one small venue here where no mic'ing and part of the audience is in front and part beside. I stack 2 - 1x12s and point one sideways. Works great!

How do you stack 2 1x12's and point one sideways? Seems like that would tumble over. Using a sheet of plywood between? Good idea for sound dispersion though.

At about 90 degrees or a bit less. They're small cabs.

Here are samples in the same small venue. The one time I used the 6101 stacked with the Mini Jube atop for the second day.
