Heh, yeah. I've had quite a few run ins with Queen over the years. When I was really small, my first trip with a friend to a computer show and I practically knocked Brian May with his little blonde kid over. Years later one of my mates in a nearby village ended up living nextdoor to Roger Taylor. Roger, despite appearances was not at all cool, drove a Volvo estate (station wagon in the USA). We got to gate crash one of his parties which was really something. The light show made it in the newspapers because traffic on the A3 (freeway) was stopped with reports of alien sightings lol. I never met Freddie, he was already pretty far gone by that time and when he passed away, for people into rock music the atmosphere for a couple of weeks in England was kind of like one of the royal family had died.

Was curious about this film, heard there were lots of problems and false starts. I didn't actually think it was going to get finished.

    Hopefully its a good movie.
One of the most memorable concerts I ever saw was Queen in the 90’s.

I presume Rami Malek is a good choice for acting Freddy. We'll see though.

They'd have to put actual Live Aid clips in, surely. Washed-up band steps up and kicks every other arse around  (no Freddie/arse jokes now guys....)

You know there are many ways to look at this. I choose to see only rock and I think the band was about the rock. I guess the key is did the production stick to reason they all got together. I choose not to pick it apart yet . I will give it a chance . I love the genre and I choose not to hate.

Many years ago, I saw them with Freddie Mercury.

    3x.

    I thought they were great.

I'm not interested in them since Freddie is gone.

I think John Deacon isn't with them for the same reason.

IMO, Roger Taylor and Brian May should move on.
