Just wondering what you guys think. I use a Jet city 100hdm and 50h but, there are many other amps like bugera and more. What are your favorites and why?

Do you want a clean or dirty amp? How loud do you want it to be?Want to use pedals with it? New or used?,etc.

Sorry guys but I think you know what I meant. Best tube amps under $900. And to be more specific high gain amps. With or without pedals. I guess I should have spell checked before posting. I tried to edit the title but after posting the title can't be edited.

When I was younger, Id have older guys respond to my own questions like this with the usual list of "heres what I liked or used, and why I liked em" only to pedal away home and forget everything they told me as soon as I kicked my yellow DOD250 on.

"But this sounds okay for now..."

My only advice today is: buy used and ignore sales hype and endorsees if you look at buying new.

Ive bought recording gear new but now that I think about it, I cant recall once buying a guitar amp or cab new.

Well, IMO only, at that price point, go with the Origin! You can get classic Marshall tones and add a pedal and you have high gain and it’s under 900.00 !

If I were in the market Id check a 100 watt dsl head. And no chromeboy I thought it was french indicating an amp for under 900 clams.I dont think an origin is high gain.

EVERYTHING is $900 or under in USA

The only things $1k and up are things too new to be on the used market or minty collectibles (for which you can find clones or kits for less)

Seriously... 5150 variations, Rectifiers, all manner of JCM and Plexi types, Fenders, Voxes, whatever the hell tickles your fancy, you can get it for a little less than a grand tops, and often a LOT less

No you can do it. Go to the thread you started and find thread tools..click on it and it'll have a drop down that says edit title..then edit title.
