ACDC. At least many do. Boston's guitar tone is the same but I always think the songs are quite different. At least the first album.
Classic Def Leppard. The album they shoiud have made but didn't. Lef Deppard Dyslexia. :D

Boston, Def Leppard, (Journey, 80's Heart).

Not only do their songs not "all" sound the same (to me and others), they sound unique within their genre. Whereas, there is nothing on one single iHeart radio channel today that, first of all, sounds good, second is inventive (let alone unique or ground breaking), has any style that hasn't already been copied, baked, fried, reheated and re-gifted less than 1,000 times somewhere else in radioland's past, or worth a single moment of artistic attention.

By the way, WTF is "Bro Country"?

This is "Bro Country": where some thing that goes by the classification of a "human" with a fake southern accent produces another type of thing that for some ungodly reason has to find its way into my head at the office no less than NINE FRIGGING times every day:

This is that fake southern bro-country-rap manufactured/calculated, insincere crap that defecates all over so many incredible Country music artists of the past who created an infamous, now disassociated genre of integrity, by that name:

And this miserable whiny emasculated expression:

, also NINE times every FRIGGING day.

And then there's Panic! At The Disco, and a song called "Thunder" that belongs in Disney's Lion King Part 5, and "Shallow" by Lady Gaga in a panoramic and repetitive display of lyric abuse, and then there's ED Sheeran's micro catalog of "worst audio ever created and forcefully shoved down the throats of innocent casual radio listeners".

And we have a thread bashing Boston?? ...the only Rock band to hold second place in radio history to Led Zeppelin who is the indisputable best rock n roll band of all time?

Please don't make me list current sh!tty "artists" of Bro-Country who suck. Please don't make me have to do that.

I love these threads because they remind me of the letters section of Creem magazine where the "bands who suck vs the bands who rule" debate raged. Awesome.

And I think that the so-called "musical group" The Grateful Dead should be pinned to the top of this and any other similar thread as the all-time winner from now until the end of humankind.

OP: I wonder if this was further investigated we would find that it's a lot because all their songs are in the same key. :hmm:

W.A.S.P. always sounded the same and I think they are most always in A.

But they're not. D, F, A etc. Maybe it's cause the guitar sounds the same in all of them. The wife says they all sound the same. I think she means after album 1, a classic, the other albums sounded just like Boston 1. ? I dunno. They all sound like Boston for sure.

Almost all bands kinda do. I used to skim through albums at places that let you listen before you buy and that first time hearing the first 30 seconds of every song, yeah, most everybody’s, at least within an album, songs sound kinda the same. As you get to know them they start to sound more unique. Unless it’s Foo Fighters, Staind, Metallica (sorry but its true, come on) etc., then you often struggle to determine which song youre hearing the beginning of unless its one of the more distinct hits.

AC DC, for instance...Hell’s Bells is pretty distinct from their other stuff...more sinister/dark.

Bands who's songs sound the same are really what makes them have their sound if that makes sense.
To me what is worse is bands that sound like other band like the whole grunge thing.
Pearl jam, stone temple pilots, nickle back.
Those bands bored me to death.
