Me and a friend went to Art Park last night to see Bad Co. It was a great show. Paul can still sing...it just all sounded so great!!!!! His son Steve opened for them doing some acoustic songs. He sings and looks just like his Dad...very interesting. Here is a video of Can't Get Enough!! Here are two pics of the stage before they went on, love those Marshalls!!!!!!!
I seen a youtube of Steve and Paul's wife performing with Paul back in 2004 recently. They were excellent. Bad Co is one of the elite rock bands of all time. Paul is one of Rock's greatest vocalists. Would have loved to have been there.
They're playing tonight at the NYS Fair for free. I'm pissed I can't go because I have to work tomorrow and they don't go on until 8 P.M. That's my bed time. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU......................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why couldn't they play on the Friday or Saturday??
I really liked that version with the single guitar. Very vintage and authentic sounding compared to some of the recent big auditorium shows I've seen in recent years.
Saw Badco in the early 70's in Lincoln Nebraska. Back when they were what was prerequisite listening and the inception members for the Badco album. Mick Ralph's songwriting/solos was/is quintessential for launching this band. His hit songs Can't Get Enough and Movin On were the superband's anthem! Paul Rogers' voice added to the magic as did Boz Burrell and Simon Kirke on bass and drums respectively!
