That map is only NSW though, doesn't include other states.
Let it rain, I heard Sidney got 12 inches the other day...yeah!
Yeah now everyone's complaining about the floods. There is a cyclone (hurricane) off the east coast. It's just stopped raining here in brisbane and it's filthy hot and humid.
It just started to pour down here in Melbourne. Some cities get all the luck!
In Newcastle, the rain has made stuff all difference to the Water Supply Levels, just north and south copped a hammering from the rain.
Id love some more here. The air is finally nice again though.
The dam that supplies our water is spilling over into the sea and they still won't relax the water restrictions.
Sounds like chaos, we got epic floods out west and tornados down south. Artic air here for a day or two here in the midwest...the new norm...Happy Friday everyone!
Yeah it mostly missed the dams here in brissy also. Hinz on the GC is full I think, but it's a small dam. Good flow down the brisbane river but it's from runoff downstream of the dams (winvehoe only covers about 30% of the catchment which is why it will never prevent the big floods).
The grass behind my house is 3 - 4' high and I need to mow the front again soon If I keep using my mower I may wear it out.
Had it on TV most of the Day, Alice Cooper about to go on.
If Alice didnt bring Nita, theres going to be anarchy.
Watching a bit of it now.Amy Shark is on stage , I’m Not impressed so far.
Tina Arena and Alice will be the highlights.
Tina Arena got a few new fans out of our kids. Her tribute to Chrissy Amphlett at the end of her set was awesome.
Alice Cooper Killed it. Nita played.
The Grinspoon set wasn't to bad either.
Thats been about it for me. All a bit flat after seeing The Living End, The Baby Animals, The Angels and Hunters and Collectors yesterday.
20.75 degrees on friday in the artic regions , that's 8 degrees warmer than it was in the uk
Go and jump off an iceberg you clown!!
I didnt want to like him, but Adam Lambert with Queen was very good!
did you go to the concert? How was the sound?
No, I went to a concert on Saturday and skipped Sunday.
Adam Lambert was really good. I must admit, I wasn't keen on seeing queen because I was worried Lambert would be trying to hard to be a freddie mercury. I think I worried about nothing. I didnt mind Queen when Paul Rogers was vocalist for a while either.
It sounded good on TV, but heard there were a few issues early on at the concert. One friend actually asked if we could hear vocals on TV, because they couldn't in the stadium, that was early on though. Doubt queen would have gotten that treatment. To be honest, I have never enjoyed seeing bands in that stadium, so thats what put me off. The sound at Guns N Roses was horrible the other year. I think U2 is the only band ive ever seen there (2005) that didnt have sound bouncing everywhere.
I turned it off after KD Lang, so didn't see the end.
I know that "climate change" can be seen as political, let's not make it that & especially, let's not get into personal attacks, because you disagree w/ someone.
You have to realize, that when you call someone else' view mis-info, propaganda, or conspiracy theories, they probably think the same about your ideas.
A couple of friends went seemed to enjoy themselves. The charity aspect is about feeling good though, the money raised was tiny compared to the straight donations. Probably now the south coast needs tourists more than donations. I'm thinking about getting another bike so I might go tour down there in winter.
