Thought I would give this a go on the acoustic. It is usually used for a field recording mic
but I think it did a fair job on the guitar. I might use it more often.
Just realised, you can hear me unload the pick just before the finger picking starts again at the end. it rolls down the guitar and onto the floor LOL.

    Great playing.

Thats why I only used the Forrest axe, for bigger mistakes there is the American felling axe over there on the Right :)

    Love it.
No need for the axe today!
    Was that a baroque improvisation?

Must admit I've heard of him but never listened.

OK. Found it. Still sounds pretty baroque, but not improvised, as the Ozzy album version is double tracked.

    Lovely piece of music.

Because the timing speeds up and slows down I don't think I could ever make a decent double track.
From what I have read Randy use to seek out all different teachers when he was on tour and was influenced by a lot of classical guitarists.

Randy was an instructor when he was 13, at his parent's music store in downtown LA...

Can you imagine going in to learn a guitar lesson & some little skinny kid walks in w/ a guitar.

"excuse me kid, this is my lesson/appointment"

"yeah, I know, I'm your teacher"

Yeah, he did search out teachers in different towns & also gave clinics.

I started to learn music when I was in 4th class (played the cornet) Thought it would be cool to tell the teacher to "stick it"
Paying for that moment for the rest of my life.
