    I don't think I am.
All my guitars were 'lower' priced imports...albeit the 90's era Jacksons were Japan produced....My Epi was Chinese.

I have reached a point in life where if I can buy USA...or at least from some place that isn't actively trying to crap on my county, I will.
There are lots of items, companies, countries and brands I will not give money to.
I also realize that there is no way to not buy from some countries due to being the only supplier or that's where the final product sourced its internals.

Well, IMO my Asian made Epiphone Limited Edition ES 355 is just as good as my 1987 Gibson Dot ES 335.

I'm a Gibson 335 junkie and, IMO, a Gibson Dot is a high end guitar.

So WTF is it with that Epi?

GC has 2 of these w/case on their used site for under $700.00.

There may be another Epi ES 355 in my stash.:D

There are a lot of non cork sniffer guitars out there.

Don't overlook them because of the name or price.

You'll save yourself a ton of dough when you use your ears.:agreed:

If you've got an R8, a Klon Centaur, and a custom hand-wired Dumble clone, you're under-achieving playing "Louie Louie".

Not if they were bought primarily to impress others, at the early stage of the buyer's playing journey ;) (long-running TGP joke)

Run. 1000 dollar guitar case. My expensie is better than your cheap because they cut too many corners.

But they love Agile LP from South Vietnam and Eastman from China. So they cannot be all bad.
