-that's an 8x10, I had one, loved it, one of my top "gear you regret selling the most" FU's

-there were at least 3 versions of this cab-

Hard to move, even harder to ship, and inferior to a 4x12 for tone.

Played one once. Bright, thin, uninspiring.

    Just trolling threads today, LOL

    Got one ,Thx

I got mine in a trade for a 5w Valco amp
The 7442 speakers are brite .I could not stand 'em and sold 'em all to some collectors .
Then I robbed two 1965 cabs of G-10L-35's
My 8x10 sounds fat AND you can even play the Major out of it !!

-mine had 35's in it as well, definitely not thin & directional, but then again I always stood right in front of it

    I've got a pinstripe one squirreled away....with 7442's.

Doesn't sound bright to my ears, nor inferior to a 4x12. Epic cabs, but a pain to move....hence squirreled away.

The guy I got mine from had two , the one above and a small box basketweave 8x10 that was in much better shape
One Joe Perry ended up gettin the small box, reckon Im in good company

Man ,I tried everything to dial in the 7442's,but just couldn't get them rascals workin in my favor .I hated to part them out ,but I really wanted to keep the cab & make it work.
Glad I kept it,made a nice album cover ......And yeah, it's nice to be able to play the big watts thru this cab
