Life's too short for me to want to eat food only as fuel all the time. I do enjoy eating somewhat as a hobby. I also enjoy preparing food, kinda as a hobby. I immensely enjoy BBQ and smoked food, so I've spent a great deal of time BBQing and smoking things, and then indulging in the finished product. These things usually aren't exactly prepared with one's health in mind, only how to acheive getting the best flavors out of the particular piece you're cooking.

But I don't do these things all day every day. Otherwise I'd probably be lookin like the animals I'm grilling...

I probably drink too much beer though. My gut is starting to show it too lol

....and now I want a pizza too.

And a beer to go with it, good call Mitch.

Soy is bad for guys... It inhibits natural testosterone production and increases estrogen level.... There's a good reason "soy boys" are coined....

That guy is such a huge blessing!! I have had 4 shoulder surgery's from repetitive motion, stocking shelves at night in a grocery store. Clavicle had to be cleaned out and stuff.

Yeah I remember years ago when soy products came out and everyone including our government where promoting the hell out of it. For some reason I was not buying it and I did not need a milk replacement because I don’t drink milk and don’t care for ice cream.

A few years later I read how bad it is for guys, like you say, and how bad it is for women, thyroid issues and all.

I have an article that talks about soy. It’s was once used an industrial clean agent years ago. When new cleaning products came out the government could not let the soy industry go out of business so they said hey what a great healthy dairy substitute...well here we are.

The article also discusses that some may say Asians eat soy products. True they do but it’s fermented soy which is much better for you than the soy found in soy milk and soy burgers and soy ice cream. Plus they go on to say Asians only eat a few grams a day. Americans are sitting down and having a glass of soy milk which is x amount of times more in just one glass not to mention the other soy products they eat in one day.

    It’s a great 2-3 page article.

    Meh, I'm having Americanized Kokanees.

It's not really good, but it's better than a lot of other beers in it's price range.

When I don't mind spending a few bucks, I really like Red Hook ESB.
