Love the lead 12, 5210 combo, 3310 and 3315 heads. Can't live without them.

I own a vertical input JCM800 combo but it's one of the three (!) 5210's that will be used at rehearsals and gigs.

I had one mosfet combo, I think it was a 5250, GREAT AMP! I love it, but things come and go.

I have a little Lead 12. It makes me want to look for a Lead 30.

My mosfets make me want to find the lead 12 in the mini stack , in white tolex, but I don’t want to shell out
    $500 bones for it!
    Cheers Mitch

I bet you have got more people to purchase these amps than you actually think, or know Alvis

I just watched this video and I am somewhat amazed at the tones Segeborn is getting with the Lead 12! I have no experience with these Marshall solid state amps, it sounds great!

This begs a question,...why doesn’t Marshall re-release these amps?! (and why were they ever discontinued), These amps just blow away the mg line, is there no market for these?

I do believe the 800 sounds better, but not much, they’re very close. This amp sounds soooo much better any MG, Valvestate, AVT, amps, why aren’t these amps Marshalls’ solid state line?!

Lead100 MOSFET head was the first Marshall amp I ever owned. I loved it so much paired with a 1980's Randall 4x12 cabinet. That head gave me a good crunchy sound reminiscent of '70's and '80's rock; it was so easy and quick to dial in a great sound! Keep enjoying yours, Mitch!

Oh yea I will bro, I have $400 tied up in both of them, and I have watched the used prices go all the way to $399 at GC used Marshall gear, and I have them paired up with dsl40c’s, and origin’s, they are not bad all on there own, but I have not run them that way in a couple of years now!
    Cheers Mitch

How exactly are you running them Mitch?

Also, are your 100 watt Mosfets the same circuitry as the lead 12, 20, and 30?

Maybe I can get a signature Lead 12 , with a better speaker out of the bastards ....:lol::lol:

Talk about “if you snooze you lose”,....

Earlier I came across a Lead 12 online for $119,... I was just looking. When I was done browsing I decided to go back and take a serious look at the $119 one, with the intention of buying.

Well you guys are smart, you all know the rest of the story,....:(

I guess I’ll go back to sleep! :noplease:
