    I probably get more practical mileage outa the Lead 12, but I dig the 20 & 30 equally

    If you have a chance, run your SS 800 series through a 2x12 or 4x12 cab. You'll fool a lot of people. Great bang for the buck.

    Alvin is responsible for this Lead 12. ;) Very cool little amp, everyone should have one!

    If 80s SS rack gear qualifies, I have a 9004 preamp above the 9005 power amp. I like it better than the 9001 tube version in the top rack. Easier to dial in with passive tone stack.

    And this trick I never ever seen
    Using the return of the FX Loop and line out jack, I’m playing the Preamp of a 1987 Marshall Lead12 through the Power Amp of a 2015 Marshall 1987X

    This sounds Great
    Lead12 played through 1968 4x12 Marshall 1982A with Pre Rola G12H30 55Hz Greenbacks
