This amp was totally modded by a notorious Swedish modder with 4 channels, effect loop and footswitch in the 3 of the 4 hole inputs. Above each pot there were two additional minipots drilled through the front. The board did not contain much original parts but above all it was drilled beyond repair.

I have "cleaned" out the amp, replaced the preamp sockets as two were replaced and one bad. Thanks to Rikard I got a set of vintage potentiometers as these were replaced. And our all favourite Neikeel is providing me with a original board!!!! :)

The transformers wergeld but I changed the MT out for a rewound one since I have another amp that was in presitine condition except the MT. I switched them around.... :)

    Will be a cool player

imagine how much it cost to originally mod it to that extent! Would've been cheaper to buy another amp!

i was more implying the original owner who had the amp modded. I understand why you are restoring it.

..yeah, i always wondered why people keep sending him their amps. .there's always a few amps moded by him at the sale site "blocket" and it doesn't seem like the mods really add to the perceived value of the amps...?...

Are you going to try your hand at hand-lacing the loom now?
    How does it sound?

Yes I will but I seem to have lost the lacing wire I got! :) I´ve been moving parts around and this thin cord are somewhere among the those thinks, probably in a good place where I won´t misplace it... :) :) :)

It sounds great But I´ll have some tweaking to do I think...

    eBay

It is ok but not 100% font wise when compared to the original. It is also printed slightly off centered and all text and stuff should have been a bit more to the right, to be right.

Not sure where you are located but MojoTone makes some real nice high quality faceplates and they are rather low cost. Check them out...here is the link, I have used them and the QC is excellent.

What no hair or mold? This one is barely a challenge!

All things being equal though...I'll sit back and watch your progress...like I always do.

It's not printed off centre - it's just the wrong type of faceplate for your chassis.

You need a JTM45 MKII faceplate - the JTM black flag and JMP faceplate amps have all the holes for the hardware punched a little more to the right of the chassis.

If you compare your chassis to Neil's from the PP thread, you'll see for instance that your toggle switches are closer to the chassis end block, and your input Jack's correspondingly further away than his. It's only a few mm but enough to make a difference.
