Is that you Jason? If so nice rendition of AC/DC
I thought the 900 sounded better before the pedal, not quite the AC/DC sound but it was better.
I think the solodalas pedal is designed for a pure clean tone and once the solodalas pedal is on its just te right amount of grit for the AC/DC sound. Lots of mids on the EQ also.
I think the BIB tone was good but i like his tone with Bon Scott the best.
I want to hear some AC/DC renditions with the new 20 watt vintage head
No man, fraid that's not me, he's got some chops...
I swear I will get some videos soon...
Ok cool bro, I will never know if I don’t ask! Cheers Mitch
Aye, fair enough man... I did post some old ones from a couple of old bands on that other site, but the only chance I've had to record a video with these new guys the phone dropped down the back of the amp.... :-( doh!!
I will definitely look forward to hearing them, once you’ve had the chance to put some up, thanks brother! Cheers Mitch
Which Angus tone are you talking about. Find the PG rig rundown. Pretty simple. Buy every vintage Marshall you can get your hands on.
run this through it.
or maybe this.
You said that you have bought the Storm pedal from SoloDallas, does it sound good?
Turn the volume and master to 10 with the EQs and the Presence down to 3, gain at 4 and adjust however you see fit, I had an old stock Epiphone G400 that I think nailed the Highway to Hell tone on my Fender Mustang head, I can get the dry tone on my Marshall but I dont have the pedals yet to get the slight delay and reverb.
although this is an amp forum I have to say that the late 60's early 70's sg gibsons with the t tops will get you the closest to his tone.
The Storm pedal definitely gets you closer to the Back in Black era tone. It does exactly as advertised. If you're willing to pay for it, then I'd buy one.
To the forum! Cheers
To the forum, nice tone and playing brother! Cheers
Storm should sound good with my SV studio
Yes we know you've got the SV Ken but are you really gonna spring for the Storm ?
Been thinking about it
Thanks I appeciate the welcome I'm here to learn really, I have a JCM I plan to maintain
