It's always interesting to see what everyone else is using.. refreshing, thanks for sharing!
Matt3310, Love the pictures!! You Have Quite A Collection if I had too say. I would be in Seventh Heaven in you house!!
Cool, I need to try one out. Always wondered about blending the EL-34's and 6L6's in one head as well.
I hear you on the Mesa EQ. I have always been a Marshall guy. It took me a long time to get the EQ and master (including the effects loop send as it works as a second master) figured out. I like the sound of the Mesa and the 6100 blended as well.
Finally got a couple more pics....
See, I have a few rosewoods! LOl
Why did my pants just get tighter? Oh...pardon me
I enjoyed your pics, especially all the guitars against the white wall. That was art. Jane
Great collection! Not that much of a Strat fan, but I LOVE the Teles....
so I just clicked on the button that takes you to the first unread post, and then scrolled up, and saw Carnada's post sayin
"WTF man what do you do for a living,
and then I scrolled up one more and saw Nedcronin's post sayin
lol that was funny...
That's one hell of a collection!
I think its safe to say that you like strats
Heres a few better pics. and one of the other Marshalls I had not showed earlier. And for those who asked about rosewood Strats, you can see a few here! lol
Where's the new Les Paul?
Those pics are a sensory overload... in a good way.
What is up with the tuners on the white strat. they look clear or something?! Very cool.
Is that fender pedal down there one of those fuzz/wah/volume pedals where the whole top slides to the sides for volume? I used to have one like that.
You could hit the fuzz and it would sound just like Limelight.
Cool stuff man.
BTW, can you hook me up with some cool Ford paraphanelia, since I am a hardcore Ford guy?
the les paul will be here the end of next month!!! Hopefully sooner. the tuners are pearl.
Let me know what you want, I might be able to hook you up!!
Mr meager collection right now... Guess I better get a group shot of the amps ready...
Hey Matt, anything to do with drag racing, Galaxies, Fairlanes and Mustangs gets me going!
BTW, I just noticed the neck on your PRS. Holy smokes, that is so killer! I see one of your Strats has a really cool neck kind of like that too.
Great collection man
Now, this... I like to see
I went past my Maple neck phase and just play 62' shape rosewood, 12" radius, Strats.
I allways do my own little mods, like removing the middle pickup from the selector and wiring it up to a mini toggle, so I can get it in series with bridge, true humbucking. Then install a 3-way tele switch, and upgrade the neck pick-ups to SD antiquity custom, upside down,
reverse staggered pole pieces if you will, further I line out the body cavities with foil tape to take away the 60 cycle hum and put some soft foam between the springs at the back, to loose that crappy reverb effect.
I installed lace sensors into my 57' hotrod strat once, but eventually prefered the vintage spec pick-ups, as they were easier to play, alOt less dynamic, more compressed.
But if you wire a red and blue sensor in series, man. thats insane output, like Dimebag's pickups
Stratplayer for life!
No group photo yet...
2 of these..
And the only pic I can find of my '63 proto-type, Frankenstein head, Blue Sparkle, 3-15" Kustom..
May I print off your pictures so that I can keep showing them to my wife.. as proof that I need more guitars and amps !?
Custom53... Dayum! You got some firepower there
