So I guess there are a few older MFers here. Got new bottle of SANTO for my birthday.
Will raise a shot to you guys. Can't do as many as I used to. But I can reminisce with one or two "CHEERS"

We have a wall mounted 8 track and turntable with the Nutone intercom. Lived here for almost 40 years I don't think I've ever used it. A bud had a quad 8 track & receiver, pretty cool.

ELP too, Brain Salad Surgery @ Cleveland.

I had 8 tracks. In fact I just sold my last 8 track deck last year. A Pioneer hr99. The Pioneer stuff is pretty collectable, even the 8 track decks...especially these.. 15757452170332372975098323107798.jpg

I still have my portable General Electric AM/FM/8-track player...........at Mom's house. She listen's to the radio while in the kitchen. She won't give it back.

It looks like this unit (but this is not mine).

Yea I also had an old portable 8 track from radio shack that looked like a dynamite detonator..I love the old tech stuff. More hands on musical experience..feed the tape...drop the needle..ect. thats how I learned tunes, dropping that needle over and over and over..lol. If I only would have had the internet and all its resources when I was 16..you youngsters don't realize how easy it is to learn nowadays..shit I remember when tabs were new..lol..wow how time flies.

I remember destroying albums on the turntable trying to learn songs, especially figuring out lyrics.

I gave all my vinyl away the same time I tossed the cassettes,
I have since mentioned it here that there is music I have purchased 3 times on different formats some even 4 times.

I never did that but my brother did. I had no desire to do it after the hell my brother got from dad.

I did the same thing when I was a kid about that age, maybe a couple years older. I knew that they couldn't do much about it because I was a minor so I just went with it lol

I actually discovered a LOT of music that way. Didn't have no stinkin computer, cellphone or internets, no record store in town, nothing. So I did what I had to lol
