    *expletive* techs..ugh...

Take FOREVER to fix your stuff...

This is why I've taught myself to fix, setup and repair most of my stuff..

It's just the less then obvious troubleshooting I am not all that adept with...

    Frustrating..

How long has he had it @Adrian R? Some amp tech take forever to get a job done, most say your amp gets in the line and if the line is long, you have to wait!.

There are two reasons for the line being long, 1. he's a good tech and he's busy,...2. he's a bit lazy or a procrastinator.

    Look at the bright side.

At least you have your sick amp:s little brother at home. In an alternate universe it could be a beat up old line 6 spider sitting in the corner.

After it gets fixed let us know what the problem was so we can learn something.

That's if the dude tells me. I'm beginning to think he's a jerk. If he cannot figure out the static issue soon I want the amp back to figure it out myself, or take it to someone else. Not going to pay for endless bench hours..no way.

Amazon has ruined society. If only our amp techs worked on the 2 day business model. :D.......kidding.

Amplifier tech's are a dying breed. The great ones in my area keep a steady backlog and long turnaround time. This is why I am learning to do most of my own servicing. When I do require the services of a solder Jedi I expect a good wait and have become OK with that. what matters the most is communication. I have two really good techs in the area.....one is a great communicator...the other not so much. Guess which one I call first.....
