    I just finished up this 2008 Marshall 1987X Plexi with my Pandora Mod.

    I changed out the problematic stock loop for a Metropoulos Zero Loss Effects Loop.

    Included is my V-Mod which drops the dissipation voltage making the amp more brown with added sag.

    I love your amps. If I get some funds for another amp you are definitely at the top of my list. It has that Plexi character with the gain and saturation of a much more modern amp. I love it.

    That sounds amazing David!!! I really like the Pandora with the V-mod! Wow........so tempting! I have a 1987XL sitting in my basement that I rarely use. Just use it to record Plexi tones when I need it. Still too loose on the bottom end for my taste. You are really perfecting this circuit!!!

    My apologies to David for not doing a proper review on mine yet. I recieved my Pandora 1987 last week and its amazing. It sounds so tight and articulate. Mine has the V-mod and the Sat mod too. Both mods are very user friendly and are worth getting.
    My buddy and I were jamming on it and trying to see what it sounds like compared to my other amps. After hours of playing it really is close to my SLO. Granted the SLO is 100 watt compared to the 50 but in terms of sound and character they are very similar. Its an incredible amp and definitely worth getting one.

    On another note, David is not only a master of the art, he's a true pleasure to talk with.

    Thanks again David, you'll be hearing from me soon.

    Wow, that amp sounds familiar!

    :headbanger::headbanger:

    David, as you know Ive got that amp's older sister here with me.... I'm still blown away by what it can do with just a twist of the volume knob and a hotrod Strat.

    I am truly pleased to know some guys are bonding so well to the tones we share in our heads. ( The pun was not intended).

    Best Regards, David
