Hey there, Happy (belated) New Year to all!

Does anyone know much about the '72 Marshall 50 watt head?

    Are they a good buy?

Are they a JTM or JMP?

I know it has EL34's, 12AX7, Drake output, laydown power trans

What would something like this be worth?

    Thanks

'72 JMP50 is a great amp! Are you going to sell the one you are talking about? If so, please post some pics!!

Value is anywhere between $1200 to $2500.

I sold a mint as new 72 a few months ago for $2750.
A super clean one is around $2K.

A replaced transformer and an extra drilled hole or two and the value drops substantially.

Great sounding rock amps. Originality and condition is everything.
