    Put some tubes in after fixing the bias. First test drive of this AFD era amp (Slash AFD amp was a modded metal face 70-71 super lead tremolo)

    I will tidy up the board and fix the tremolo later. Tremolos are my Nemesis, they never work for me and when I do get them up and running I have done so many things I don’t really know what the actual error was at the beginning

    I don’t mod my amps in a traditional manneR

    I always want it to be stock but you can find variations of within the tolerance of the old parts and you can fine tune it.

    I have not done this yet with this one

    I’d like more low mids here


    I have done some other “amping” parallels to this restoration
    I am building my first own amp design
    Small compact plexi inspired metal cases low volume lunch box amp as every one else.
    However I am only using old parts and components

    I’ll update when I get time to finalise the tremolo amp. Missing some old iskra resistors for the trem
