I have also drank Bookers which is anywhere from 127-130 proof. Also very strong. The other one which comes to mind is the Rare Breed by Wild Turkey. That is a tame 108 proof. What is interesting to me about the Jack Daniels is taste. It still retains that unique JD taste at this extreme proof. I have to say also that the buzz a shot of this stuff gives is great lol. I can see why you guys could not finish this off at practice. It kicks your ass. Drink this bottle very responsibly!!!

What is the average price on that potent single barrel?
    I have not noticed.

The price I paid for the bottle was $64. The Bookers ranges in price from about $70-$99. The Knob Creek 120 is about$50 and the Rare Breed is about $50

Hendrick's Gin in the black bottle.

Fucking ridiculous. $33 a bottle. Nothing compares. Real good.

Screw whiskey and all of it's anger induced comatose bull shit, Stoli is the drink. Distilled 7 times without that burnt JD/Beam - i wouldn't call it flavor- flavor.

JD is $45-$55 for 750ml and $85 for the 1000ml for Single Barrel around Long Island. I don't drink much so it's the good stuff when I do! They have a 150 anniversary bottle out now. I love Single Barrel, chilled it tastes like liquid candy and warm it hits hard!

Elijah Craig is the single best Bourbon for the money. The Evan Williams 1783 also is very good. A lot of those very high price bourbons are the cheaper versions run through one extra carbon filter step to smooth out the bite a bit, then they double the price.

I was never a big drinker.

Today, it's sweet ice tea or water.

A walk on the wild side is a light beer.

    Remember, I'm old.:agreed:
