Seems like a crazy seller, this is local ad. Putting a Gibson neck on a replica from Japan? OK, folks...this one is AMAZING. It's a 1989, made-in-Japan Orville Les Paul Custom. It has many significant upgrades, with the best of the best: • Orville headstock logo professionally replaced with mother-of-pearl Gibson logo (it looks PERFECT) • Silver metal flake finish by Marty Bell (best in the biz...refinished in 2019) • Stainless steel frets (never wear out!) • Faber locking bridge and tailpiece! Drastic sustain/tonal improvement • Seymour Duncan Slash Alnico Pro 2 pickups • Grover locking tuners • Bone nut PLEASE NOTE: This guitar is wired as a hot rod, ala Brian Setzer and Eddie Van Halen: there is only one master volume knob. This gives a much fuller sound to the pickups. The other three knobs are simply dummy pots. Of course, you could wire this however you want, but it really sounds incredible as is. It is no exaggeration to say this guitar plays as good as any Les Paul out there. Set up perfectly with low action and no buzzing. Straight neck. No issues at all. Pics do not do this guitar justice. It looks like liquid fire under the lights! Weight: 10 lbs, 12 oz Comes with SKB hardshell case.
