Im still alive and kicking.
Very Sad..........what would my life have been like with
out his great amps
I love the amp for the very reason it is what it is, a
very straight forward mini-plexi
I have plenty of high gain amps i like it just the way it is
one of the best sounding bass recordings is of a Rickenbacker 4001
through a Marshall Stack on the song Spanish Boots on the
Jeff Beck album,...
play the DSL50 for an hour then plug into a 2203
I traded a new Valvestate30 combo for an 89 JCM800 100w head
strait accross at the Hollywood Guitar Center in 92.
Crazy deals some times, a 92...
Dont they run on Electricity? hahah
So far just about any pedal i have used works good on them
use the High Dynamic and youll be able easily
i can easily play my marshalls at low volume in my bedroom
you just keep that master down to a wisper
Personaly i dont think plexi's are too loud, but my neighbors
do, so thats the problem
two totaly different amps, i love them both for different reasons
I would like to have a tripple stack!
Just turn the bass all the way down, and crank it with no od
it will be loud
Sounds great, just the right amount of OD, better tone than Slash's
If its your first Marshall amp the Haze is a good start
Really i dont mock any amps, i always wondered why anyone
I like to mock mockers though hahah
Visit the Vintage Modern Forum they have more info than you ever
