Does you plug have a third prong for the ground . The amp needs to ground to the plug. I had the same thing with my 2204
Is the humbucker a four wire conductor . If you have single coils why do you want to split the humbucker
With the prices of this vintage gear going up . You can take a bunch of parts put something together and pedal it as vintage.
