If Joe Bonamassa would play 2555x on a concert, everyone would say that reissue is great amp and that it sounds exactly the same as the original....
No one mentioned Jubilee :)
Oh my God, how you use all these amps
I believe these 20 watts are a marketing trick because we all wanted lower powered versions of plexi and jcm800. In real, these amps are as loud...
I have JJ E34Ls, they have plenty of bottom end, I never turn the bass knob over 8 in combination with middle between 6.5 and 7, presence about 5...
I prefer Jubilee too, it sounds much fatter than 2203x, but still has that Marshall grind and punch and "in your face" sound. The best Marshall...
Hey Greek, can you compare 2555x with 2555 and 2554? I mean in every aspect, not only the power modes.
Nice sound, can you share the settings? The speakers?
No, you use 1x8ohm's inputs. These are second and third input from the left, the first one is 1x16 ohm's. You can use any of those two 1x8 ohm's...
When rhythm clip off, I find there is more bass and low mids. At first I also kept it off, but now I like it more with rc on. The tone is more...
Just one question as a digression... Do you guys keep rhythm clip on or off when using drive channel?
You should play blues with Jube :agreed:
What kind of music do you play?
What is this?!
In Europe it is only available by special order at the moment, whatever that means.
It seems that 2555x is going to be discontinued? Big stores are generally out of stock. Anybody has any information?
I use JJ E34Ls, they have more balls then Tungsols because of the tighter and deeper bass, I never use my Jube with bass dimed.
The sounds from the Rhythm clip are more 70's-like to me, more transparent, airy, with less gain.
Adrian, can you tell the settings you use for live?
