I’m glad I’m not the only 333XL fan. It can cover a pretty wide range of tones. Great sounding amp.
I thought his son was trying to take over selling the mod kits, but not sure if that happened.
I did the BillM mods to an Excelsior. I appreciate...
I had a V22 as well. Nice cleans end pushed edge of break up. The gain channel, not a fan either.
I like EL84’s, love Budda and Vox AC series.
I have a VHT 6 Ultra.
For $100 used it got played a couple times. It’s ok. Keeping it around to mod it one day.
Complete kit or did you source the parts yourself?
I love the fact that the majority of people totally disregard Bugera amps. Pushes the used prices pretty low.
I have the 333XL and have thought...
Love a Tele, but needed some HB's. Great guitar!

I was also a bit curious about the Amelia and your thoughts on the amp....
I put JJ 6CA7's in my JTM clone that was running EL34's. No hum noted but I do bias when changing power tubes.
I thought 6CA7's were similar to the EL34's?
The 5e3 is a classic.
Nice looking studio. They are really nice guitars and the price is great on them too.
I always thought they were pretty much for playing twangy country tunes. Sorry, but I hate country music.
But I had the bug a couple years ago to...
Guitar Center has one used right now for $425. That's a crazy good deal on a great amp that's under the radar.
Can you get big 3D type of cleans out of that thing? Always loved the bassman.
