Those MF cabs are somewhat rare and many like that they are oversize cabs. Speakers can be swapped...
You could just cut a new board and paint it black...
If you removed 2 power tubes, then did you switch the impedance lower on the amp? Probably all the power tubes are going bad.
Just wait for a better cab to come along...but see what speakers are in that thing because you just never know.

If you are selling gear then it is vintage and rare...more $$$. And if you're buying gear then it is old and worn-out, needs restoring....less $$$.

I've been looking at AVT412A & B, VS412A & B, 8412 straight front and MG cabs A & B.
Of course, the MG cabs have some other colors besides...
Call me old school...but I have gathered 8 Jensen C10PF's from the 60's for practically nothing.
