Using a boost after gain stages via loop works well. Especially for boosting leads. I don't add more gain but volume and since I used 2 EQ pedals...

Bad Monkey. A TS derivative that is a sleeper pedal. Bad Monkey TS pedals love Marshall's. For cheap. I paid $40 for mine.
if you go clean boosted put the amp gain maxed and enough volume. Then mix the pedal. Your Strat will rip and clean up with guitar volume.
