Anyone try one of those Vox Amplugs? I just bought the Lead version and I gotta say, this little headphone amp kicks ass! I was going to get the classic rock one which is supposed to be voiced like a plexi, but after checking all of them out I went with the lead version because it gives you a little delay (if wanted) They all sounded great though ! Best 40.00 I ever spent, and the wifes happy also because now she can hear her tv shows!

Re: vox amplug
I have the Metal and the Classic. I agree, they don't sound too bad. I have a Traveller guitar that I keep at work for those free moments or unexpected trips, and keep them in the bag. Of course I would never play at work...at least when the boss is around.

Re: vox amplug
I have the AC30 and it mimics the Top Boost sound rather well.
I also have a tiny VOX AC-1 and I think that they used the same circuit! The micro AC-1 is a monster for its size, I recorded it and it almost sounded like a true AC30 |
