Dudes, check this out. It's been on sale locally for like, seven, eight months... Price keeps going down and down.

We have a winner. The "wrecks" sound as bad as they look.

Well, you're in luck! That amp is still sitting in the store I first saw it in. Judging from the looks of it, it's still a virgin too. I've got a feeling it'll be there after the store goes out of business. All they have are Peavey amps and some off-brand strats.

Those look ugly, but I think Slash's rhythm guitarist swears by them.
![]() Heres some others. ![]() And while this is pretty ****ing ugly ![]() It's supposed to be the best practice amp on the market right now.

Re: Amps you don't like or can't stand looking at...
I bought one of these back in the mid 90s. I still have it. It looked cool when it first came out but it did not age well at all. It sounds decent though.

I like that amp's looks, except for the logo/symbol thing on the left.

Re: Amps you don't like or can't stand looking at...
Looks are subjective. Im getting my amps covered in all kinds of crazy shit. But i think overall they will look badass .
I like some of the quirky shit out there too unless its just hideous. Not sayin i would "Rock " it haha! Its strange n unique for maybe someone in a Beatles retro style tribute group or somethin lol. Anyway.. Biggest disappointment to my "ears " was the Mesa Stilleto. Tinny and "painfully bright "!!! Always hated Sunn Amps, kustom, peavey old crap. Never liked oranges. I also hate seeing Marshall clones with other peoples names on them. Design something instead of using a kit. For Christ 's sake! Lol |

Guess that I am too much old school.
Any amp with more than 8 tone/volume control knobs.

Orange amps, heads are ugly. I don't really like the sound from the ones I have heard

Re: Amps you don't like or can't stand looking at...
i never had issues with the stage II. it's bright but that's because it's a Brit style tone. i love them personaly. the only issues i had are the same with any mesa, cold bias point which makes the crankage necessary.
