Must have just been a mistake. He contacted me last night and offered to refund charges. I just wanted to give you a heads up so you didn't get screwed.

Hey V-Man, did you buy that Brick pedal in the classifieds? If you did, make sure you get shipping info and confimation. All I bought was those Black Schallers so its no big deal for me, but they came ****ing postage due.

Oh, it's an '88' model, all right. The 1 pu "90" model was only made that year. The "double" models were "89"-"90". You aren't kidding about that neck, very "Jackson-like." as for the case, man... good luck. That's going to be hard as hell to find. Luckily both of mine came with, but I have seen some real oddball stuff on ebay, so you never know. I do have an idea for you though. Check with gibson and ask if the "Explorer Pro" has the same 90% body and if the overall lengths are about the same for the pro and 90. I am almost certain they are. The pro is discontinued too, I believe, but they made them throughout the 2000s and that's a second option to get a case that would fit. HTH

I checked the serial number to verify it was made in 1988...
The guy who sold it to me also said it was from 1988 (but that's not realy a reference)
It has only 1 PU, made by Bill Lawrence and 1 volumecontrol, no push/pull.
The Steinberger whammy bar, 24frets, 25.5" scale... In comparison with a 'classic' Gibson the neck is also much thinner and flatter; a real shred neck IMO
