This is going to sound strange to most of you, yet here it is: I have to leave this Forum. It pains me to say that, since I've been educated and entertained here. However much I used to love coming here for those things, it has now come to an end. There are several factors involved, which I shall enumerate; although, I want anyone who reads this to understand that there was no 'single' person this decision is attributed to.

Firstly, there is the infighting and bickering. Yes, I know what most of you would say, Adwex included: "just ignore that, don't leave!" Or something along the lines of "I think it's childish that people want to leave; I don't get it." I wish it were that simple, really. Unfortunately, there comes a time when you can't dodge the scope of it, because it's everywhere, and you have a need to distance yourself from such things. I come here to relax, not attempt to make peace (which is my nature) or take a side. Too much of it. This isn't Adam's fault, or Alex's, for that matter, but merely the trend that seems to occur a lot on most of the forums out there. Otherwise, you have a forum with a 'lockdown' mentality, which never blossoms into some of the cooler things we have (tech blogs and the Tube threads, etc.). It is not my place to moderate. And I don't think it's going to improve.

That leads me to my second point: In the past, when trouble has sprung up, there have been a few of us who try to encourage members and keep the peace. As of right now, that strategy is as dead as trench warfare in WWII. I'm set up to do it, but nobody is there for it. I've tried threads, funny messages, lighthearted humor, silly pictures........nothing. That 'feelgood' feeling lasts for a few days and then it's back to the status quo. That's telling me that the Forum is moving in a direction that I don't want to go. I'm not the only one who's tried, either, as I said before.
