    replaced the rectifier and it's still the same problem, and i haven't had the time to get it on the bench and see if there's a cut trace or something. at the moment i've been trying to find a single channel head anyway

    hey check out the thread 'DSL trouble" read the whole thing. that bridge rectifier keeps coming up. its a cheap part, easy to replace, and just might still be the cause...
