Now that sounds sick. "Greasy?" What is it? An LP copy with EMG's? That's greasy?

Your Tarzan outfit and tube dance, what do you call that? Sleazy?

I left a comment about your gold Tele. Man I could kick myself for not buying one of those.

Holy Shit!!! I signed up on HC just to give a nimrod some grief. OMG that place is a zoo. The only guy I knew is a MOD over there, Craig Anderton. He's an electronic guru of gigantic proportions. It would take me a few hours to get you up to speed on him. Going over there was like water skiing with one ski for the first time. It wasn't whether I was going to wipe out, it was just a matter of when. The misinformation over there is staggering. A competent MOD is not going to be able to review every post.

Hey Solar whats up? Well one of my EH's went south on me, this sux because i really loved them. Ours both died about the same length of use, not counting twice i fell asleep guitar on lap, amp on all night. I know, smack me in the head. Might take a chance on another quad. What else would feel close to the EH's? Thanks Racko.

Man who is the big buff dude in the upper left-hand corner? Didn't he play guitar for Alice Cooper in the late 80's? Anyway I left you a PM. Your tubes arrived and I had a ? for ya.

I started out late (10:30 PM) and ended early (2 AM). I'm fine. I did sleep in, but no hangover. I had an $9 beer before I left and then it was Crown Royal. I still have a lot of these high dollar beers over here. They're too nice for a party. Well, my New Years resolution is to spend more time with my Twister. I think I can handle that one.

The guy had another nice set of Fat Boys, but I had already bought two pairs. Man if they test good, his prices are very reasonable.

Yeah, a good power cord and the right tubes and I will be crankin' and spankin' that little TWISTER. It has the need to be cranked.

Check out the parts they use in this amp. Oh, it has a 10 year warranty. This one was built 6-24-2008. Here are the parts:

Considering we offer a 10 year warranty on all our amps, we never skimp on parts quality. Our parts come from some of the best names in the buisness, including Alpha, Bourns, Carling, CGE, Cornell Dubilier, Greyhill, Heyboer, Mallory, Neutirk, Sozo, Sprague, and Switchcraft just to name a few.

Not a bad list of companies. Heyboer Iron in this amp my friend.

What else are you looking at?

Played the Twister. I have a lot of experimenting to do. First thing is I need to learn how to bias this thing. Here's why...Power Tubes-EL34B's, Preamp Tubes-All JJ's. Right now it doesn't sound that good, but I didn't crank it that loud. I hate JJ's, they sound like shit. I couldn't find a damn power cord (I moved recently). I guess I had two, 3-footers and there somewhere, but not here. So I used a three foot guitar cord. It was fine, I didn't play it that long or that loud and I felt the cord and it wasn't hot. So I'm going to have to find out where my power cords are. It will probably be after Christmas before I hear from Twister. I sure would like to get some better tubes in this. I can also tell this amp likes the volume cranked and them the MV to taste. It's basically a big Night Train. Did you read about my 6CA7 scores? A pair of rare triple O getter Sylvania's.
