Alan, I got the tubes. I've had the EL34 in the tester for an hour and it is rock steady at 88 and that was what it initially measured at. No shorts, no gas, no needle fluctuation. I guess if I get off my but, I will put it in one of my 602's and see if it goes south.

Yeah my tester is a B and K 707 Dyna Jet. On this tester, 22 is the minimum for a good tube. (This corresponds to an 80 per cent good tube on some other tester.) Remember, the TV-7 tester, 32 is the minimum good. I think I have several pairs of RFT EL34's. Are you looking for a pair or a quad? Let me know. Marty

Marty, what's the tester you used to test my preamp tubes? I'm going to list some of them on eBay and wanted to know what to put.
BTW, those Tungsrams you tested that were really hot, I just tried all four at once in my DSL. They aren't bad at all. I haven't used them since I sold my Laney - they have a nice, dark sound in the Marshall. A little less volume than my current setup(?). I'm going to list them with a couple of disclaimers. They won't go for full price, but I wouldn't want to sell them as pristine.
I've got to get some EL34's, which is the main reason I'm selling stuff. Do you still have any RFT's?

I signed up for you to be my friend. 'Bout time, isn't it?
