    unfortunately i never got the hum to go away. the reverb didnt really do much anyway so i just took it out and maybe ill sell the tank and buy a pedal.

    There is no fix that I am aware of, I just dealt with it. Im sure SOMEONE figured it out by now though.

    Sorry mate, haven't been near the computer for a while.
    Anyway, the amp seems to be fine. Took it to a rehearsal and it was as quiet as a lamb when it needed to be. Seems like it was the preamp tubes all along. And mate, those JJ's sound brilliant.
