Hey, im new to this forum. Im building a jtm45 bluesbreaker with mostly new old stock parts, all allen bradley carbon comp resistors etc. The one thing im finding hard to get is the transformers, im in Navan, Co.Meath and cannot get hammond transformers or anything like it in Ireland. I can get them through a guy on e-bay but i want to save as much as i can! Do you know anywhere in Ireland that stock them? I rang Radionics and Farnell in Dublin which apparently stock hammond stuff but dont stock the transformers or choke I need and will not order them in. What do you suggest as a fellow countryman?

    Hey,

Saw your great build! sounds awesome!

Im starting to make my version of an AC15 but has a slight twist. Im using the AC15 circuit but im trying to incorperate a switchable tonestack. Preferably a marshall style one.

I am making the circuit on a turret board and having a seperate smaller turret board with the other tonestack. My problem is that when i go to switch between the two tonestacks using the DPDT switch i might get a pop. Im wandering if you could help me with some ideas for the switching circuit.

    Cheers bro.

Hi there. Could you come back to "Humming and Vibrating DSL50? I've got a link to the DSL50 schematic. If you could tell me if "the cap" between the plate and screen exsists on the last EL34 as it does on the DSL100, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

    Hi, Paul,
Did you recieve the images sent in April? The first is of the NFB select mod, and the second is the installation of the plexi mod we were discussing. I also did the mod where a 330pF cap bypasses R3 on the input. Both thicken up the tone well without going too far. I like! Cheers, Frank

    Hi, Paolo,
Just a few words to tell you that you were right about the ground loop. that was definitely the problem, and I solved it by inserting my wireless in between the fx send of the 2501 and into the Superlead: it works perfect !!!! not one buzz and still the same magic sound !!! Yepeee !!
    Boogie on, man !
