p90strat

Hi,
I don't know if mine is anything special but I've had the radius taken off the neck and jumbo frets fitted. I did have an old possibly pre CBS pickup fitted at the neck with a standard Strat pickup in the centre and a Dimarzio HS3 at the bridge, this combo gave a very wide range of sounds which was great for the covers rock & blues band I was in at the time.
I've just recently swapped them for Fender Custom Shop 69's as I'm liking the Hendrix sound again.
For maximum tone I disconnected the Tone controls, this kind of opens up the sound more, great if you use a valve amp.
The trem is blocked off with a piece of wood wedged behind the trem block.

There is something inside me that won't rest until I have a guitar with P90s. Not sure what kind of guitar it will be... could be strat style or something else.
Meanwhile I look and learn.
