Alright, thanks for the info. I've read up on the Redco cables and seen they've gotten good reviews. I'm looking at the Neutrik NP2 plugs since they also get a lot of praise.

Since you have the most knowledge about making DIY cables, I have a quick few questions...

Have you compared the Mogami and Redco in-store brand cables? Which would you prefer?

And would it be worth it to save a few bucks and get Amphenol plugs, or shell out the extra buck for Neutrik?
