I started out late (10:30 PM) and ended early (2 AM). I'm fine. I did sleep in, but no hangover. I had an $9 beer before I left and then it was Crown Royal. I still have a lot of these high dollar beers over here. They're too nice for a party. Well, my New Years resolution is to spend more time with my Twister. I think I can handle that one.

Cripes! A 10yr warranty...Nice way to back up your build. I hear Heyboers are great iron too. Jon just pm'd my build I want with specs and cost. Looks great! I'm just going to look at that list and put money aside for however long it takes. Makes it more real having it all listed out like that.

Anyways that new amp of yours is going to get a workout so I hope its up to the task hahah!

The guy had another nice set of Fat Boys, but I had already bought two pairs. Man if they test good, his prices are very reasonable.

Yeah, a good power cord and the right tubes and I will be crankin' and spankin' that little TWISTER. It has the need to be cranked.

Check out the parts they use in this amp. Oh, it has a 10 year warranty. This one was built 6-24-2008. Here are the parts:

Considering we offer a 10 year warranty on all our amps, we never skimp on parts quality. Our parts come from some of the best names in the buisness, including Alpha, Bourns, Carling, CGE, Cornell Dubilier, Greyhill, Heyboer, Mallory, Neutirk, Sozo, Sprague, and Switchcraft just to name a few.

Not a bad list of companies. Heyboer Iron in this amp my friend.

I just wanted a couple more Matsushitas(Realistic). Otherwise I am fine.

Once you get tubes and a proper cord it will go better I'm sure. Like you said it needs to be opened up and breath'n fire hehe.

I drooled a bit when you said you scored those Triple Orgasm 6CA7's. Looking forward to hearing how those are.

What else are you looking at?

Played the Twister. I have a lot of experimenting to do. First thing is I need to learn how to bias this thing. Here's why...Power Tubes-EL34B's, Preamp Tubes-All JJ's. Right now it doesn't sound that good, but I didn't crank it that loud. I hate JJ's, they sound like shit. I couldn't find a damn power cord (I moved recently). I guess I had two, 3-footers and there somewhere, but not here. So I used a three foot guitar cord. It was fine, I didn't play it that long or that loud and I felt the cord and it wasn't hot. So I'm going to have to find out where my power cords are. It will probably be after Christmas before I hear from Twister. I sure would like to get some better tubes in this. I can also tell this amp likes the volume cranked and them the MV to taste. It's basically a big Night Train. Did you read about my 6CA7 scores? A pair of rare triple O getter Sylvania's.

No, I meant KT66's. Go here:
    Gold Lion KT66
As I said, a 6CA7 sounds like a better KT77, so I'm not really interested in them and if I was, I would get the Gold Lions. As per my prior message, I stated that the amp will run 6L6, KT66, 6CA7, EL34 and KT77. I have solid 6L6's to try, but I've never run a KT66.
