Went through several line up changes, but Vince and I were always together. We added different bass players and drummers and even tried a lead singer. Eventually the band became bloated with six members. What a zoo. I'll take a four piece band with a couple of guys who can sing.

This amp is a two channel monster. Way ahead of its time. Designed by Don Randall. It uses a 12AT7 PI tube and four, 8417 power tubes. This amp makes 172 watts. The 8417's are getting to be real rare tubes. This was the real deal back in 1972.

Bought this beauty in 2004. I removed the stock pickups and replaced them with a PAF in the neck and a Distortion + in the bridge.

Here's some shots of my baby. I take real sweet care of it. One of the factory stickers is still on it. I guess when the time comes, I'll peel it off. I really like the necks on the newer Tele's. They're really fast.

I was going to buy a Hamer until I got a smoking deal on this guitar at the KC Musician's Friends warehouse. The store manager sold it to me with Gibson case for $850. How could I say, "No?"
