This site, or comunity, kicks so much ass it´s unbelievable!!!
    Thanks so very much.
Thinking about asking for the meaning of life. I bet I would get a good answer LOL Of course we all know that the answer is a Marshall amp in good shape.
When I buy it and get the job done you will be the first to know.

    Hey!

To answer your master volume question, I am a BIG fan of the Lar/Mar PPIMV. It's cheap, easy, sounds great, and when it's full up, it's basically completely out of the circuit, so overall colorization of the sound is minimal. Check out all you need to know about it here:

    I hope this helps you!

    Hi Lane.

PM´d Wilder a few minutes ago and thought I´d ask you as well.
Since joining here I´m getting more and more interested in amps. Have learned how to change tubes and bias them, and also, whith the help of an electrician friend, changing caps. Now, combining this interest in amps and the JTM45 kit solution (forget about buying an original) seems like a thing I just have to do. BUT. I would like to have a master volume on it.
    1. Is it possible to do? Thought about placing it on the back for aesthetic reasons.
    2. Could you provide me with a wiring diagram and spec for parts needed (I mean for the master volume)?
This is a project that will take a while for the usual money issue, but I thought I might begin to look into it.

    Thanks in advance
