Here is the advice Lane on fixing the buzzing problem.

"Okay! Now we are getting somewhere. There might be a grounding problem in the input 2 jacks...somewhere in that part of the circuit. At least now we have narrowed it down. If you are comfortable with doing so, open up the amp, drain the caps, and re-flow all of the ground connections at those jacks and I would also check the ground on the resistor and cap connected to pin 6 of V1 and see if that helps. If the amp is still under warranty, forget all of this and take it back to the store, as any of this will void the warranty.

    Good luck!!

    -Lane"

I'll pm you the info that Lane a tech here on the Forum sent me about the buzzing. My buzzing has stopped in the last few days, so in might have been condensation or something. I have been using it more lately maybe thats why.
There was a thread about how many 1959RR's were made.

The tech asked me to test it with the guitar unplugged...I tried that and the buzz goes away. The buzz also goes away when I turn the guitar volume down. This would suggest that its the guitar thats causing it, but I tried 5 guitars and its still doing it.

About leaving it with a tech-its a good idea to find an old JMP black tolexed box, and just use that when transporting the head. Thats what I do. The white tolex gets dirty very easily.

Thats interesting because it does behave like a bad earth. It has the same characteristics of a bad earth on a guitar, but doesnt go when you place hands on the strings. I'll ask a tech here on the Forum about it, and i'll pass on any new info about it on to you.

Hi. Im just wondering if you sorted out the buzzing on your 1959RR.
Mine has been doing the same thing lately, and I tried new preamp tubes, but the buzz is still there.
