Jessta,
I was wondering where you disappeared too?
The Lorantz GB's are excellent. I have them in the 2x12 but am going to get another 2 and fill my 1960A with them. The have a pretty flat EQ curve in them so you the AMP EQ really responds well with them and even with my 900 I can get a really good Plexi sound out of ChA. I have heard that the 75W version is aq slightly 'darker' voiced speaker but if you want a bit of speaker breakup you really have to have it loud to get it, and beleive me when you get the 800 you will know what loud really is.
MelbMusic centre sells them and also Lucas Miles Audio sell them. MelbMusic put me onto them when I was going to get Celestion Greenbacks. He said these are better & cheaper and let me try them with the option of returning them should I not be happy.they stayed.
With my 800 I run the pre at about 4.5 and master at 8 and it's classic plexi all the way. Turn up the pre and it gets crazy.
I think you will be happy with them.
Hey Mate, thanks for the link to DSL strap you are a star... look what I found! I ordered one today.
I can't get them in the UK and I wanted one since I saw Warren DeMartinis of Ratt in the 1980's Rock On Mate!
Hey over a year ago you mentioned power points in a thread I started. Well I went off to college for a year and kept my amp at home so I didn't get it "fixed" yet.
I was wondering, is it possible that my Valvestate 8100 stack is too powerful for the plug I was using? I didn't think it would be a problem, but is it common for one to need to get like (idk the exact word) a power adapter to be able to power up the amp? My house was built in 1969, and I live in the US, if that helps.
Hey some nut ball tried to spam your thread about "So Many Profile Views." I clicked on his name and it comes up: This user has not registered and therefore does not have a profile to view. It shows on the main forum page that he posted, but when you go on the thread, there is nothing by him. Frickin' weird. Just another stalker that thought you were a chick. Wow!
About posting on my personal page. Most people call it Vegas, cuz it is nothing but bright lights. And hey, if you're stoned when you are typing over there, enjoy the buzz.
Tripod's a must in photography! With your camera, for using flash, try moving back about six or seven feet and use your zoom. It will give the light some space and reduce the reflections. I'm checking out your Pantera cover now.
