    The Boss SD1 is by far the easier to modify , and in the end cheaper as well .
    I do Wah mods as well , yes !
    Boss DS1 can be modified for much better tone as well ....

    I wanted to ask you about some pedals. I of course like the mods on Daves overdrive. I have learned how to use the ts-808
    since you have been inside of these which one will be best modded ? I ask this because the Ts I have is borrowed and I can buy for $80 it would be cheaper to buy a SD-1 and then what ever you get for modding it not that price is the object. Transparent boost. which one would make more sense and be least expensive ?
    Do you do any mods on cry baby wahs ?
    I have a extra ds-1 also.

    mine generally stays in pentodode 100 watts mode ....so i never really noticed

    Hey Hot Tubes,

    do you notice a much louder hum with your 6100 when running it it triode and half power mode? Mine hums louder, but it goes away when I switch back to full power.

    What tubes are in that one EL34s or 5881/6L6s ??
    I love my TADs (tube amp doctor) If yours is like mine , get the Tads asap !! the best
    output tube i have ever run in this amp !! this is the tube number etc ....
    TAD 6L6GC-STR RCA STYLE BLACK PLATES

    Blows away all the common brnd i have used , these seem to be the Diamond in the
    rough for the 6100LM chassis !!

    Blew a power tube. Hoping to take her in for a full retube today. Man, just when I thought I was done spending money on gear. What power tuebs are you running? Any experiences w/different types? Thanks!
