    I have the same set up. That popping sound was happening to me on shut down so maybe yours is in reverse effect. Do the following prior to shut down the next time you use it:
    1. turn all volumes all the way down
    2. switch the amp so that the blend feature is turned off
    3. wait a few seconds and power down

    Doing this has completly eliminate the pop for me.
